Harassment. Bullying. Verbal Abuse. What every manager should know.
Nobody wants to work for or with a workplace bully. No one wants to feel at risk because someone is acting irrationally at work.. As managers, we have an obligation to ensure these types of behaviours are handled swiftly. On June 15th, Bill 168, an amendment to the Occupational Health & Safety Act will become law in Ontario. Do you know what constitutes harassment, bullying and workplace violence on the job? You may be surprised with what you find out.
The Bill requires all employees to understand the definition of workplace violence, how to recognize potentially violent situations and what procedures to follow in the event of a violent incident. This interactive and informative webinar lead by Marni Johnson and Brad Thorman will help leaders prepare for the requirements of the new workplace harassment and violence legislation and help you understand what you need to do to get your team ready.
